Β I very much like your version of Severus Snape. I like Alan Rickman in the movies, but it's good to see artistsΒ being more original when drawing the Potions Master.

Wow!
I came across your HP gallery and was quite impressed by a couple of drawings... I love your style! But this one struck me the most. I've never been a fan of Snape (although I cried much because of what he did and how he lived) and still this is one of my favorite HP art ever! There's just something about it, the look in his eyes, he looks so sad! Anyway, GREAT work.

Such pain-filled eyes! What's wrong, Sevvy?
I love this picture. It's so... emotional. ::hugs Severus::

You have a very consistent style and use of material, I've noticed. Is this Conte, charcoal? Ebony pencil?

Actually most of my artwork is done in regular ol' 2b pencil with some 4, 5 and 6b added for some of the darker shading and background. This particular drawing was done on a different weight and grain paper than I normally use.

AHHH ok. It looks like you did it on cold press or something 0-0 heh cool , excellent. I often just use a soft graphite mechanical pencil so hey XD

Wow, you really captured Severus's true form here... completely free of any bias.
You can really see the yearning in his eyes- a history shrouded in shadows.
Enough of my poetry- something I LOVE about your art- you always bring the character to life- they're never out of character.
You must continue.

Personally, I think your Snape is one of the best I've seen - thank you for not sticking to the Rickmanesque!Snape!!
