This untypical shape give him a very aggressive and awesome look. Handgrip is a state-of-art realization. Great work man

Although they're art knives, could you actually use them as a real knife?
I mean: art swords are always crap and only fit to hang on your chimney, is it the same thing with art knives?

Yep, a lot of people use them as real knives. I usually use one for my box opener or using around the house. But people have used them as their hunting knives and stuff.

That Knife looks very good. It's got a interessting shape
Well, I like it since it looks so twisted and unusual. Good work!

Thank you very much. It is nothing compared to your Black Orchid. I've had your photo as my background on my laptop for a while now. It's a very impressive looking sword.

masda In reply to Logan-Pearce [2009-04-29 06:50:11 +0000 UTC]

Haha, cool (the laptop-bg)

I'm making a third version of this sword, more detailed with more orchid-like Ornaments... but it is getting along slowly :/
I have a Hate-Love for the first version of this sword, somehow XD

Yeah, I like special-looking weopons, so that knife is cool. It is not flashy or overdetailed... it just looks simple yet unique.

That is my favorite kind of knife or sword. Elegant and simple, but one that you hate to take your eyes away from. It's hard to find anything like them and there are so few. I can wait to see what you do with the next one. You did a wonderful job.

Logan-Pearce In reply to samfishers [2009-04-29 05:55:13 +0000 UTC]

Not really. Just years of practice really. I just now decided to start building me a better shop, since a family member is wanting to learn to make knives. So I will be putting up more pictures and making better stuff. Finally I have some inspiration. Thank you very much for the compliments and sorry it took me so long to write back.

Wow! That is absolutely beautiful! I admire anyone that can work with metal! My Grandpa actually used to make knives too. He can't see very well anymore so.... He'll never get to make me one.. T.T

Logan-Pearce In reply to Night-S [2008-06-17 19:58:25 +0000 UTC]

I'm sorry. I'd make you one? Making them is really easy. It's drawing that is really hard. I really wish I could do it. I couldn't draw a knife if my life depended on it.

Night-S In reply to Logan-Pearce [2008-06-17 22:12:11 +0000 UTC]

Wow... It's the complete opposite for me. O.o I probably couldn't even hope to make a knife. Sad. XD

do you have a name for this knife ?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Logan-Pearce In reply to Aqualvein [2007-10-14 16:37:36 +0000 UTC]

It's called The Silver Spike, I didn't name it though. It was on the front cover of Edge Magazine like 15 years ago and they named it the Silver Spike. So I just now adopted the name. Thank you very much for liking it too.
