There's no doubt this is a great piece, love the detail and design, especially on the hair, and the emerging blond hair that seems to be seeping out from the inside, that is something I haven't seen in other super saiyan pieces
On a different note, am I the only person who is seeing Justin Chatwin...

Thank you for the compliment! That is a common question for me actually. I see it as Goku is from another planet, so he is an ET, he doesn't have to resemble any particular race of humanoids. I didn't plan for him to come out looking that Caucasian, just came out that way as i was doing 4 paintings at the same time. So that's my reason.

I got mixed feelings for this one. I honestly admire all the detail and style and effort put into this piece. Awesome skills displayed. But as for the theme of the overall piece (goku) I dislike it. IMO when i see DB and DBZ characters in a realistic style all the badassery of that character just goes away. Β I can take em serious XD. Overall awesome work and don't mind my peeve.

Thanks for your thoughts! I wanted to take it to a new level and see how that goes. Nothing can beat the original art style and animation! To be honest I'm a little disappointed in the animation of the new DBS, miss the 80s stuff.Β

I'm not even sure where to start with this one ;u;' there's so much going on it's amazing!! All these little details that make a picture whole, and you did it perfectly!! I'm really mesmerized by the way Goku's hair is changing to the golden saiyan from the roots, and the lights around his fists omg ;jdkd and don't get me started on the skin and clothes ok bc I won't stop ;jskdk I love this ;;v;;
