It's almost perfect.

'Almost' because... well, i'm sorry to say that, but Maglor's (the left one) scale male seems a bit flat and too loose (like a shirt or cloth), Maedhros' however looks great

I guess it's because you're drawing them in a straight line. Remember that a torso is round like a cylinder, not flat like a cube. Clothes or armor wrapped around a user represent this.
Try this tutorial to see what i mean [link] It helps
Same principles go with scales or small plates

This takes place after the exile of the noldor, so they are not actually in Aman, since he sun is up this is somewhere in the ages of the sun...and as for the "Maeglor" I mispelled it..it should be written as Maglor, the eldest son of FeΓ€nor after Maedhros..

I thought about Aman soon before Nightfall, but after FΓ«anor forged swords for his sons. For after Thangorodrim Maedhros didn't have right palm and handled sword with left hand. Men on your image seem to have both hands, the one in back keeps sword with right hand. Or the image is mirrored, then the one behind could be keeping sword in left hand. Very nice illustration anyway

that is true....after morgoth chains him to thangrodrim, and fingon rescues him he losses his left hand...
so either way I would have done a mistake, 'cause when feΓ€nor arrives at Middle earth with his host the sun hasn't come up yet!...so if the picture is not in Aman, thein either daylight or his extra hand would be misplaced....

You sugestion would save me from my own mistake..so I"ll just start saying it really was in Aman, after the forging of weapons...

really nice to hear from someone who has read the silmarillion...In my case I need to re-read it, the details are falling off my head..

Good idea There are some Silmarillion maniacs on-line, don't worry And details... Silmarillion is horrible, contains way too many details, names, with HoME come another options, explanations and probably that's why we love it Apart the sad and fantastic story.
