_____________

One would think that a vagrant named frog with a passion for writing half witted (yet remarkably blunt) joke books would hardly be a beacon of community and respect. One would think, but in a town like Eugene he's a local hero. There are over 42 volumes, all of which are constructed in the back of a public library somewhere by a man who's experiences in life run as deep as the wrinkles on his face. I purchased two volumes, both of which were proudly signed by their author with an illegible "Frog" and a self portrait which includes the piercings on his eyebrow and weathered bottom lip.

he hangs out at the same spot, every day. just to the left of the campus bookstore, where all the University of Oregon kids walk by on their way to class.

I can't really explain it, but I love the overall look of these photos... there's something so raw about them.
