A lot of Inktober people are following a theme format, but you seem to be following a different format. Is there any more space for a Monster Challenge (Nioth Khorgai), or have all the slots been filled?

I'm just saying I consider Nioth Khorgai a "challenging" Monster.

Well, I'm following a list put forth as a challenge. I think there a few others doing it too. So yes, all slots are filled, but why not do the Nioth Khorgai anyway I've already done an illustration from the tale which I consider to be the predecessor of "The Tomb-Spawn"; "The Weaver In the Vault."

When you have time to attempt it, I'd be interested in your interpretation. Your version of " the Weaver" which at the time of reading seemed like a difficult to visualize nebulous ball of energy and strings, turned out pretty interesting in your version. You don't have to try it during Inktober, but if you have Monster Challenges out there, this is mine.

I've heard of this one in a book I had that compiled descriptions and eye-witness sketches of extra-terrestrials.

I'm not buying "Powers: None" though. This looks exactly like something that has powers.

If it had powers it apparently made little use of them.

Is it a cryptid or is it from a Sci-Fi story?

It is a cryptid connected with a UFO case.

So weird it looks lovecraftian...  Well, maybe more ”derlethian” than lovecraftian... Are there real accounts of this guy sightings, lr is it fruit of your imagination?

There is an account of this being from 1957, but if that story's bullcrap or not -well, your guess is as good as mine

At first I thoght it was quite crappy (the alien idea, not your drawing, of course), but, thinking for a moment I realized how original and surreal it is, so different from all those grey, or green, or whatever, humanoids that roam old golden age scyfy books, movies or tv series... Looks like being casted out from a Roger Corman’s movie, or maybe a Dr. Who episode. And I thinks that’s highly valuable.
As usual, thank you for sharing your vast knowledge of the bizarre, and also in such and artistic way.
