No tears allowed when Dad's around, Miss Missy.well you all voted for more NextGen family interaction stuff in my latest poll, so here ya go
Painfully shy, quiet, and somewhat socially inept, Cupcake really struggled to make friends as a filly. At times, it seemed like everybody else fit in so well, while she was all alone...luckily there is no being sad and lonely on Daddy Cheese's watch
Eventually, Cupcake gains her baby brother and sister, meets Pandora, etc, and isn't alone anymore, but for a time, she was closest to her parents, especially Cheese. Hard to believe, but dear Cuppy is a daddy's girl through and through. Cheese Sandwich is thus far, the only pony that can bring a smile to her face without much effort (yes, even as an adult). PB and J are very jealous of this ability. XD

Sometimes, I think you and Momma are dissapointed because I am not as fun as you both are, and- WAAAAAHHHHHHHH" *more tears flow freely as tiny chubby hooves desperately try to wipe them away*
"Oh, dear Cuppy." *picks up the crying babe, hushing and wiping away the unwelcomed tears* "Momma and I aren't dissapointed in you. In fact, we are very glad because of you, Princess!"
*sniff* "You... you are??"
"Yes! You are trying to do what other ponies like you can't do!"
"I a-am?" *sniff* "What's that, Daddy?"
"Making new friends!"
"Really?" *big grin*
"Yes, you indeedily are, sugar pie! And as you are growing, you will have, no, not one, not two, not even three, but a BAZILLION of friends! And I promise you, Princess, you will be party-makers just like me and your Mommy!" *big, caring hooves tickle another's belly, as to confirm that this promise will be never be broken*Β
*hearty laughter and loud chuckles fill their air as they both cherish this father-and-daughter moment*
