....What? It's just some innocent tail wrestling. Just a battle of dominance between two young dragons. Not an excuse to be near each other, nope. Not at all. Just a fierce round of tail wrestling. Dragons don't do affection.....Please don't make them talk about their feelings.

i want an episode where Spike teaches Garble how to not be such an asshole and court Ember properly
Princess Ember in the meantime has her heart all a-flutter for that one stupid red male with the stupid overbite

This is something I feel I must say
Like most bullies Garble's probably been a victim atΒ sometime in his life. He'sΒ been on the rougher side of life and has seen that pony behavior around guys like dragons is liable to get you killed or at the very least pounded.
We know very little of his backstory and reform is a trait among most non major villains on the show. Plus some things aren't always what they appear.
For reason I think that one note from Celestia is going to play a part in things.

Just wanted to show some love for this piece. It looks really nice. I personally don't ship the two, but that isn't important. Unlike a lot of actual crack ships, this one is easily within the realm of possibilities. People tend to forget that Ember was no different from the other dragons. She didn't warm up to Spike until the third act of the episode and only worked together with him for her own benefit. At the same time Garble and his friends had accepted Spike at one point after he had impressed them with his efforts.
The comparison to Twilight x Tirek in the comments made me chuckle.

This is really cute. I actually sometimes pair them up on and off myself. (I mainly only thought of them as friends at first.) So it's nice to see I'm not the only one that pairs them up. Depending on how it's done I think this can be a cute ship. And I like the idea of Spike teaching Garble how to not be such a huge jerk and to help him get together with Ember.

Now this is my kind of ship! I love how you stick out from the crowd and ship these two instead of Spike and her. I like to think Spike and Ember because good friends and she helps him get to know about this dragon kind better. I love how you drew them it seems to be the show style but at the same time I can see yours shining through; great blend there. I love how their tails wrap around each other's and the innocent looks they are giving as if they don't like it, but do. Great work on this!

I love your art style so much! It has very crisp contrast in some parts and then a nice gradient in others. This combination really adds an edge to your artwork and also shows the level of thought that is placed into your strokes.Β
