Description
A new Star Wars drawing!!Isn't that cool ?
Well, as it's always the case when I make a Star Wars picture, I just wanted to have fun..
It turned out that I gave much more work in this piece than I intended to, but I like the result.
It was also a way to try new things, that I could use later.
For instance, I tried to give some movement to it, as usually, my pics are a bit (too) static..
I also experimented with the hair, as it's in motion..
I tried new things with lighting, mostly because of the lightsabers here, but that could be really useful for future images...Oh well..
Everything made in Photoshop CS2 with my Intuos2 tablet, I'd say about 10-12 hours of actual work on it (I didn't want to spend more than 6 when I started it.. lol)
The background is a composition of several royalty-free pictures found through google, I was too lazy to make it myself.. Nevertheless, it went through my personal blender, and I like how it turned out..
Bad girl made with one of ~Pepstock 's photos as reference for the drawing and clothes(go check out their stock photos, they have really good stuff)
Jedi guy, made also with reference from one of *Armathor-Stock 's pictures for the pose.
And that's all for the references...

For the record, none of these characters are from any movie/story/book.. They are completely random characters, with no particular story (unless you want to give them one..

That is true indeed, there is a tiny angle between the hilt and the belt.. I had to make some adjustments at the end so the blades would cross where I wanted them to in the first place.. lol

The thing is I made this one before even joining JO. But now that I am addicted and so involved in my character's story (yay for my nerdiness), I think we could probably think it is a young Tabris. And now that you mention it, it just gave me an idea for one of the events in his life...

Wow, I should say that I've seen a lot of improvement!
First of all, at first glance, the artwork seemed to be moving, full of action, awe-bringing excellency. 
Also, the characters don't seem to be on foot; maybe floating---since they don't have shadows from the ground. The ground also don't have any specs of light. It should have even just some tiny bit, since the characters are holding very shiny lightsabers.
The outlining on the person looking back also has a questionable outlining. You should have ommitted the dark outline of that guy over there (hey waitaminute, is that you? 
But I should really say, it's a great work. Full of action.

Now I must admit there are a couples of them I don't really understand.. Let me explain.. The light effect on the people faces is actually there (look really closely..
The characters are not "floating"..
As for the specs of lights on the ground.. well, I don't really know what to say, it seemed to me there were enough of them.. I mean, the ground is all black red and blue.. lol
As for the outlining of the guy (no it isn't me..

Incredible! =] I'm loving this piece! You've achieved everything you wanted movement and all! But I do have one critiscism! I don't really like the expression on bad girl! It seems all too indifferent! I don't see much emotion! But still! great work! =]

I could say she is a Sth, but Sith lords are too much known by Star Wars fans, and being a fan myself, I'm not gonna invent a Sith Lord..
She could be categorized as a "Dark Jedi", a jedi that fell for the darkside..
It is part of jedi training to learn to be at peace, whatever happens, even in combat.. you can't let out your feelings, especially during a fight..
That's why it is rare to see a jedi or a bad guy showing emotions (there are a few exceptions, as seen in episode 1 and 2.. and 3... lol)
Nevertheless, I admit I should have given her a less "neutral" face, especially for the kind of action she is performing.. I'll give you that, and a cookie along with it.. lol..
thanks for pointing it out. My wife was saying the same when I was drawing the lines, but as many other things, I forgot along the way..
But hey, if it were perfect, how could my next image be better ?...

As the poster, I'm afraid I can't really do it through the print program on dA, since Star Wars is highly copyrighted (even though the only real star wras thing on this drawing would be the lightsabers.. lol)
Nevertheless, I'm thinking about doing it still, somehow.. I'll let you know if that happens
