Description Hello there!

Another speed painting for today...

I was working on a commission, reaching a point where I need to come up with a background. So as I usually do in that case, I created a layer on top of everything and started messing around with brushes to find one that I'd like and maybe use.
I found one that I really really liked, though I probably won't use it in said commission.
But I felt the urge to try it out in a quick painting. Going through all the sketches I've made lately, I found this Yoda and decided to give it a shot.

An hour or so later, this is what came out
Not my best work, but again it is a speed painting after all. I'm still relatively happy with it.

In case you are wondering which brush it is, it is part of "Goro's Brushes", a set that you can find online (just google it).
I've had this set for the longest time but never really used it until my little series of Star Wars speed paintings. =warui-shoujo has been pestering me for months about these brushes, and in the end I have to admit that she had good reasons. They are really nice and easy to use, and even though I still don't use them as main brushes in my work, they do help for things here and there.

Anyways, time to go back to work.

Photoshop CS2, Bamboo Fun tablet, about an hour and a half if I count the sketch made a couple weeks ago.

As always, comments/favs/watches are highly appreciated

Dropping dimes are we?

I'm glad you finally played around with the brushes, I love the hard #10 and the hard fade brush for shading. When you use the #10 hard brush set at 1 size, you can make some nice hair. The more you practice with them... lol the more you'll end up using them in your main pieces. It kinda took a bit to grow on me as well.

nice speedy.

yeah I'm slowly getting used to it. The more I play around with them, the more I like them and can see where I could use what.

And thanks ;D
