Wow what a beautiful drawing!Β These two are two of my favorite Ghibli characters^^ Funny how grimly Haku glares at us while Chihiro just curiously looks in our direction. His gaze gives me shivers... In the way you draw him his river-like appearance, flowing and graceful, is clearly visible (and the ridge on his backΒ evenΒ looksΒ a bit like seagrass). And how much effort you must have put into his scale-dress!
It's really incredible how many details you have incorporated - the leaves swirling in the wind, the moss growing on the god statues, the tiny flowers on the ground, the shadows of Haku's tail on the stones ...Β
I'm delighted with the light breaking through the treetops touching a few patches of the forest floor. It creates a breathtaking surreal atmosphere; calm and dreamlike, yet mysterious and scary.
