No, I actually think that's pretty cool. I never that before, and you're right. It's not the only tie to a kaiju Kraid has, either: his roar (at least the Super Metroid version) is Anguirus's roar from the Showa Godzilla movies.

Awesome! Kraid and Metroid absolutely rock! And did you know his "spike missles" are actually living creatures? At least on the official Nintendo artwork they have mouths and stuff.

Really? I've seen some concept art and never seen any mouths, but then again the art pics were pretty small and low res. Having them be symbiotic creatures/living things that are a part of him seems like a logical idea though. I may have to edit his description to add that. Thanks for the info.

It was the Super Metroid artwork to be exact, here, look closely on the right where it shows the underside of the spike, you can see a shark like mouth.

And no problem! And did you ever read the other comments I left you?

Ah...yeah, never looked that close, I guess. Well, I already changed it a little to include that they're symbiotic/living organisms. It was a good idea. Thanks.

I read it somewhere else a long time ago, so I doubt I'd of noticed either. And no prob, for some reason I like them better as living creatures too.
