Card I painted for Fantasy Flight a while ago. Game's not out yet but they used it for a promo piece so I get to put it up!Pretty happy with it for a day's work but it could be better, dwarf needs more highlights to make him stand out more from the background I think. Like the axe and the anvil though. The left side just beyond his arm will be hidden under the card border, which is why its pretty unrefined.

your astounding blacksmith ilsutration on which i can really feel the action, due to positioning of details, from ornamented andvil, the seared axe in progress, dwarfs face, the hamemr in hand and to anvil in background, making this slight tense curve of action, a warp, made it to be featured on FB page i am admin onwith a great reason. Hey thanks man, yeah I like dynamic angles but a lot of the time its just a trick to make the objects in the composition as big as possible within the tiny little rectangle...
