Like how you've managed to give her an very characteristic look even though nothing about her is especially pronounced. Even though she's a fantasy character she has a kind of simplicity that makes her look realistic. Nice work.

Beautiful detail of the figure, sword and realism of the entire work. It is such a great balance of the delicate girl in satin and lace with the cold gleaming iron of a long sword. Makes you wonder if she can wield it or if it is passed along from her father/mother.

Nitpic: Swords are made out of steel, not iron. (Iron can't be hardened and tempered. It's an alloy thing.)
Also, that's more of a hand-and-a-half then full longsword methinks. Though, don't quote me on that, because the definitions are kinda wishy-washy anyway.
Still, I always appreciate seeing fantasy swords with sensible designs, and this one looks like it could actually work. So major kudos to Lorlandchain for that.

First of all, to reply to your statement, a sword can be made of any metal, it doesn't HAVE to be steel, but steel is the best type of metal to be crafted into a sword. Before steel was discovered, swords were made of iron, that was during the Iron Age.
However, that sword right there could not possibly be made of iron and still be functional, it's too long and skinny, it would need to be steel.
And yes, that is a hand-and-a-half sword, and a very practical design I might add along with you, it looks like a potentially functional sword. I'm sure it's finely counterbalanced too, if it weren't, then that girl would need a good pair of arms to use it.

Very nice.^^ lol, it's kinda creepy though because she looks almost exactly like my friend. Even has the same expression, posture/pose, and clothes that she would wear on a daily basis or when getting a picture taken. Ah yes, and hair too. Hehehe, I must show her this...
