This is so beautiful! Watercolor is often hard to work with, and you seem to do so very well! This scene reminds me a bit of something from King Arthur, or a similar medieval story.

A great illustration- very festive! I love the way you draw candles, they provide beautiful illumination for this piece- and I love the patterns on the clothing and the table cloth- the wreaths provide gorgeous burst of green throughout the piece- lovely!

Правда? А я кстати хотела, чтобы эту иллюстрацию другой заменили, мне не слишком она нравится (поэтому долго ее мучила).

По крайней мере, в таких цветах - точно. Ну, народу, конечно, было побольше...) Но рисовать множество героев очень трудно. Эх, уже хочу это шикарное издание себе в копилку, хоть и прохладно к Пушкину отношусь.)
