Not sure if it's called batik. Your paintings remind me of a class I once took, where we painted silk scarves and tapestries using something called 'gutta resist' to separate the colours and keep them from bleeding into each other. The way the colours softly merged between the lines looked a lot like your watercolours... and it made me think that your paintings would look awesome on a large silk scarf.

Yes, I mean exactly this technique. Apparently, we call it differently (batik - Indonesian word. Translated from Indonesian it means "a drop of wax")

Рыся, я честно отвечаю - я маскирующей жидкости в руки никогда не брала, и даже не видела что она из себя представляет. Но меня периодически о ней спрашивают))) Весь секрет тонких белых линий в кисточке №2
