The glow adds to this one.
It reminds me of the effect soft focus has in an image from =MrGlory [link] Same thing here.

Bottom line: nice work. Honestly, I like this one to the first.

I agree. I started this one with my wife in my lap, whilst she, half asleep, attempted to show interest in me demonstrating how to make a ripple effect in the sky. Then, being the obsessed artist that I am, decided to keep on going and totally redo the first attempt that's currently on here. I agree, as before said. It was better the second time. Kinda like sex.

Well, I changed the picture a little last night, and added some running lights to the heli and some night red flashlights to the Marines standing behind her.
