FULL VIEW PLZOkay I got my new wacom intuos4 large today... and spent about 30min-1hour (not sure... between those two) fixing it up and getting it shaded better. This is the last edit I will ever do to this picture and I just did it to mess around with the new tablet.
Thank you all for putting up with my 3 other releases of the same picture, they are all going into scraps now.
MY NEW TABLET FTW!!!

The finished piece looks uber cool. I particularly like the shading on the left arm muscles, and the skull of the skeleton behind him. The colouring and shading has been improved just to the point where each part has its own distinct feeling but they all still work together as one picture. The dark and angelic features really contrast with each other nicely.
Great job. Lucky you with your special tablet!

I am tempted to go back and add some more lighting/fix the rocks some more... but I will leave that till later if ever... gotta get some new art out first

I managed to find my tablet Muuuuccchhh cheaper than what it usually is sold for... by much I mean $200 less... and if I had gotten a XL I could have gotten it for $300 less

I cannot wait to do a full art piece on this tablet... I mean it is true it does not improve artistic skill, but it does speed up the process of what I want to do... meaning I will actually do what I want to do rather than not.

I don't think I've ever mentioned how much I like the greens. They're so beautiful and electric. Also, I feel like the wings are lighter, more angelic in this one, and that the skeletal part is more ghosty.
