I looked through the first page of comments not seeing this question, so I'm confidently asking it: Β How long do you spend with a piece like this? Β Do you start with one date, character, idea, ect to get you started for this kind of work? Β If so, how exactly does this hatch in your mind? Β I know you mentioned a place in Pennsylvania, but how does that suck you into such an intricate and detailed piece? Β Enthralling! Β

Thank you for your observation, I worked on this one on and off for a month maybe, I normally start with some ideas of composition based on the places I visited, then I try to find some interesting background of that place, fit in my composition, it's not Pennsylvania, it's Chester in England, near Liverpool, with a lot amazing Victorian buildings.
