She requested a Houndoom
Houndoom has always been a really cool PokΓ©mon. I mean look at it, it's just awesome! XD
I tried to do a more semi-realistic skull, I am by no means good at skeleton work, but it turned out better than I thought, I just didn't want to go with a circular mask with two holes, I wanted to make it just a tad different. And also I just had to do another night time sky background X3 They are just fun to do and are perfect for dark PokΓ©mon. His head is a bit big though.
Done with acrylic paint and Crayola markers. Edited with Gimp.

I really like it, especially the fact that you focussed on houndoom's dark type and not the usually 'hell-dog'-theme people tend to use when they draw houndoom. The skull is very interesting and, indeed, does give a semi realistic feeling to houndoom. And besides, I really love your night skies!

Whew, I can't believe that Pokemon is old enough to be on Boomerang. Pokemon is so old now, I remember a conversation I had with my father a long time ago... He said, "You kids are so into Pokemon. What is it, about four years old?" Now Pokemon is like, 15. That's insane! I started the anime when it first came out, but I started gaming in the Gold, Silver, Crystal era. I can't believe that GSC is already over 10 years old, I think 13. That is insane.

Yes it really is, it's amazing how fast time flies by! I started the anime when it first came out too (: actually the anime is what made me collect the cards and get into the games, seeing the characters have personalities and everything, I just thought it was awesome

I remember spending so much time on GSC that I maxed out the time on each version of them three different times. I loved those games and couldn't keep my mitts off of them! I got Pokemon Yellow as my fist Gen 1 game, but I was so stressed out that it was different from GSC that I quit playing for a while. I eventually beat it though. I first played with Gold, and I was horrified that I couldn't get a Meowth (my favorite Pokemon at the time) so when I got Silver I caught every wild Meowth I saw. XD I was so retarded but I had a great time.

Aw, I understand how that is, I still haven't finished PokΓ©mon Black because that's how I feel about it, but it's a total different story with PokΓ©mon X, I love that game! I just recently restarted my pokemon yellow game about a month ago, I wanna try to finish it again soon. XD That is cool, and Meowth is an awesome pokemon, he's one of my favorites too (:
Aw you were just enjoying catching Meowth, I did the same thing when I first saw water pokemon and vulpix (Vulpix was one of my favorites too when I was little).

I can't believe I am this late in responding.
And yeah!!! I did enjoy being able to catch Meowth! That is oddly one of my biggest memories of that game... I really loved Meowth. I went into Whitney's gym and saw a trainer who had two Meowths and I was pissed. XD I got Vulpix and I never liked it, but my sister had silver and had Meowth, so I was furious and she was furious because she wanted Vulpix. XD
Now it's all about Sneasel and Weavile to me. He very quickly became my favorite, but I still love Meowth immensely!

XD that trainer teased you with Meowths, she must pay! I think that's a great memory of the game though, I remember when I first caught Mewtwo, I was soooo happy, and that was a fight, I was using pokeballs instead of masterballs because I would use masterballs to catch my favorite legendary pokemon, Articuno

Oh yes, she must pay. I remember I actually almost cried, I was literally almost reduced to angry tears. XD I was such a tard back then. But when I found that I could catch some Meowths, I was SO happy. My inner child was bursting. But then again, I was a child. With an inner child. XD I got into Pokemon because of Meowth in the anime. I still love Meowth, but it's all about Sneasel and Weavile now. xD
I remember just trying to catch the legendary dogs... Catching Entei was hard for some reason, but I eventually caught Raikou. I remember thinking that if I battled with him, people would be like OMG or something. But nothing changed. I don't know what I expected that. XD It doesn't matter in any game you do. I remember that I was never prepared for them and was very shocked when they appeared. xDDD
Delibird is awesome, but he reminds me of the Masked Man so I was REALLY happy to raise one of them.

That's the same way with me really, I got into pokemon games and the cards when I watched the anime because I liked the personalities of the characters and the pokemon, they were just awesome. Aw childhood memories, I think we all have a inner child in ourselves X3
I absolutely love Entei, I would do anything to catch him! I actually can't remember which one I caught, or even if I did catch one in the older versions. Same here XD I had the same reaction, and then I would get so excited seeing the legendaries, "Oh my G-O-S-H SUICUNE!" XD Good times.
