Name: Goshiin Aruko(Arco) Munion 禦獅院/廕錏流怘武弐陰 [A-ru-ko/Mu-ni-on] (Goshiin is their family/surname) (Arco is the boy and Munion is the girl) [Sorry for the not cool sounding name.. orz even thoguh I spent a poop load of time thinking and researching up a name for them[more info at the additional info section* ; u ; ]]

Height | Weight: 163cm/5'3" | 54kg/120pounds (yes they are the same height and weight. Guy has muscles, girl haz boobies e u e /kicked Are all 15 year olds this tall? I googled 15 year old height and this is like already in the shorter range for 15 year olds.. I was only.. maybe 10cm shorter than this when I was 15? jisdoae orz)

Species: Komainu (狛犬)
A pair of lion/lion-dog statues usually found out side or inside shrines to ward/repel off evil (spirits and just plain evil stuff). They can also be found guarding buildings belonging to the rich and or powerful(because it is expensive [and tough] to make, plus the material is expensive as well). But increasingly, they (smaller and made with less expensive material) can also be found guarding regular homes. The statues are identical but one of them has their mouth open and the other closed. It represents "a" and "n(read as un)" which are the first and last of the Japanese syllables(Idk what it's called those a,i,u,e,o things [no, not vowels.]). The combined sound "aun" or "om" is also a sacred syllable in several religions. It symbolises the beginning and end of everything. Life to death, etc.

tl;dr version: So basically, they guard gates/doors and repel those evil jazz.

Partner: Orino Megumi

Occupation: Not exactly official since they can't legally get a job yet (not even 16 ) But they like to stand outside places like shops out of nowhere (may be their spiritual sense telling them something might happen to the store or something [like a robbery]). For example, they'll be walking along maybe going some place or going back after finishing something and then just decide to stand at the entrance of the convenience store. Most of the time, when they have nothing to do, they'll stand in front of the entrance to Maison de Umagoyashi. They like to hang around entrances of places. (Hope you don't get sick of seeing their faces all the time when entering/exiting through the main entrance of the villa ; u ; )

Description:
Amg I don't really understand what youkai-form means (I assume it's how they look? If it is, please do take a look up there on the app ; u ; If it's not, please tell me and I'll add it in Q v Q ''orz) I'll leave a description here anyways. Their hair turns golden(golden brown ish?) and become longer and wilder in their youkai form (and more wavy. dem curls > u >)b). Their ears and tail also come out. Their pupils also become amber/golden and looks less watery (more beast-like). They also have some markings on some parts of their body in dark red. (On their face close to the eyes) Also, they will look more grown up in their youkai form than in their human form. And their teeth becomes sharper and longer (especially their.. idk what those are called but those vampire like teeth? the two to both sides of the top and bottom too gets even longer.)
Power:
Their main power/skill is to defend/guard/shield. Normally, they are able to cast a protection, an energy shield/barrier kind of thing on people/things in a limited distance away from themselves and for a limited range. Standing at the correct side of each other(Arco on the left and Mu on the right when you look from their back[a.k.a you're being protected] or Arco on the right and Mu on the left if you're looking at their front/face[a.k.a not behind their enhanced barrier]) creates a stronger barrier/shield that protects people/things(within a limited range[which will increase as they get stronger but currently, it's not that big. Though if the thing protected is the building, it'll cover the windows and everything no matter how big/high the building is but the barrier will be weaker at higher places since they're not strong enough.]) in the barrier behind them. Their shielding ability is not as strong if alone and the strong barrier cannot activate if they are apart or on the wrong side.

They mainly use the ability of energy force fields to block, for offensive skills, they also use the force fields. (Because that's their power/skill.) They like to face things head on, has horrible hiding and sneaking abilities(b/c was statue in past, just placed blatantly at the entrance.). Arco uses very small compressed energy shields sent forward at a high speed from his finger tips to shoot, while Mu goes to the front and creates energy shields around her fists to punch with, at close combat. (Refer to the youkai-form part of the app, I drew the way they use them force fields for offence up. Notice Arco's left hand and Mu's right hand, there is a blue force field) Mu does close range combat while Arco does the cover fire while remaining at the side of their assigned partner or whoever they had to protect at that time. Since their main function is to protect, they don't have fantastic fighting skills but they are hard.. And durable. So yep. Best used for protection and entertainment. Not very fast either but good enough to not be moving in slow motion.

Although able to defend from physical/magical attacks, they are stronger when repelling evil things. Like evil spirits and other kinds of evilness.

Personality: If you have not already got an inkling from reading their side job/hobby, nothing is able to bore them. They are fascinated by every little thing. They're sort of like a comedic duo (In terms of their reactions to things and just their overall weirdness). They love having fun (may be because of the ancient ones being statues and can't move and jazz so now that they can, they're all over it) you may expect Mu to be the straight man or the quiet one, but no, she loves having fun and fooling around just as much as Arco. Feeling stressed, need some comic relief? Look no further! /kicked They are a little slow to get things (such as a joke or anything) and you may need to explain it a few times for them to get it. Or they may just be like: "cool" and then halfway through the conversation after moving on from it, they'll come to a realisation and start getting excited about it. (Please bear with them ; u ; ) Because of their spiritual connection, they are very much linked to each other mentally. They think the same, act the same and all the fuzz. They have a habit of Arco starting the sentence and Mu ending it. You'll see when you meet and talk to them. To them, it's just about as natural as a normal person speaking. (Since Arco is the "A" part which symbolises the beginning and Mu is the "N" for the end. So it's a habit or force of nature kind of thing?) Like dogs, they are fiercely loyal. Extremely close to each other, but they're not like obsessive or anything, really. I can't say this enough, but they're really just like one person. You can't split a person into two, nor would you want to anyway, no? ; u ; So they'll be like a pair or nice pet dog/puppies. All puppy eyed and waggy tailed wanting to play with you. But they do their job well. They won't fool around when they shouldn't. They will serve you well like they should. Background | History: They come from a rich security company that does/is in charge of security for many important and big companies (and of course they provide security services for small shops or houses and stuff too). Their father sent them to Maison de Umagoyashi more to let them truly go out to protect people than to protect them. To hone their powers of protection, which he beliefs should begin as early as possible. Which is why they were sent there at the earliest opportunity. Plus, they are two people and their skills are protection, so not much harm could come to them if he were to send them at such a young age. Which is how they ended up at Maison de Umagoyashi as SSes.

Additional Info:
-I found out that July is the national anti-boredom month.. Fits their love of fun and unboringness /throwsconfetti.
-Also, 31st July is mutt's day. A.K.A. halfbreed dogs. since they are lion-dogs ; u ;
-They are supposed to be able to shoot fire balls and go flame on. But they'll have to get more skilled and grow up first before they acquire that skill. Then they'll use it similar to how they fight now. Arco shoots dem balls and Mu surrounds her fists w fire to punch some bad butts.
-I need to make this very clear. Mu is the "n" which is the one with the mouth closed, but that doesn't mean that she don't talk or dislikes talking. Because the shape of making the "n" sound is the closed mouth shape, that's all. Also, it more represents the end than.. silence..? So there. Just leaving this here so you won't be like lol why is she speaking mang. ; u ; I'm sorry for all my fails..
-There's no nickname section in the official info to add so I'll put it here instead b/c I don't want to add it there and cause trouble if I shouldn't. ; u ; Arco calls Munion "Nio" and Munion calls Arco "A-chan" [read as 'ah' not 'a'.. as in not the a when you just say the letter a, a.] (Nio because it ends with o which is one of the possible sounds the open mouth lion makes (a/o) and Acchan[A-chan] because chan ends with n and the reason is the same as the one for Arco)
-*On the the stuff behind their names: After much deliberation, I took how their names should sound from Latin, where Arco means keep away, protect and Munio means fortify, wall, protect, defend, guard, shelter. These among many others they had in the list from google translate ; u ; I'm sorry if that isn't accurate. Before this, I was looking through the dictionary and thesaurus and baby name sites and went through many translations to different languages to find something that sounds like a name and fits what I had in mind of their names keeping with the AN/OM thing.. And then I went to search up kanji for their names that would have meanings that also fits the pronounciation. Also for their family/surnames... I blew my brains for the names.. Q v Q
-They like to eat mini fruit tarts/fruit tartlets.

I drew and redrew their youkai form pose so much ide- kdfmslefe ; u ; The perspective for Mu is whack but.. I hope it doesn't look too bad Q D Q I wanted to draw a seperate drawing to show them using their power to fight because I'm not sure if people will understand when they read the description and it'll be troublesome to make people find and click on the inconspicuous [link] button. So I made the youkai form in a way such that they can be shown using the power without looking strange. I also fail at coming up with a good traditional japanese-ish costume for their youkai form ; u ; I'll keep drawing different designs until I find one that I really really love. Then maybe I'll update the app too.. Or they'll just have alternate costumes.. If it's possible ; v ;

There are many __/__es because I'm so indecisive I can't settle on one.. So I'll leave it like that for the time being and choose one sometime.
