Description:
Shui Lan is able to switch into his youkai-form whenever he pleases, but only for a certain amount of time. On rainy days he can stay in his youkai-form longer. When he transforms into his youkai-form, his hair grows longer and becomes brighter, he wears his eye-patch as a mask which reveals his glass eye and scar, his eye changes color (from brown to green/blue), and he grows horns. His appearance reverts back once he switches back to human form (yes, his hair is capable of changing its length at will Q v Q). He usually carries around a rusted out katana that he uses as a walking cane in his human form. It is basically useless as a weapon when he is in that form, but when he turns to his youkai-form it will become imbued with water elemental spirits and is capable of doing damage. When the sword is in this state, the bandages, which are usually around the hilt, wrap around the sheath. Returns to normal once he reverts back to human form. His power when he is in his youkai-form….is to control the oceans and sometimes rain~ ; 7 ;

Personality:
At first glance, Shui Lan may seem like a cold and aloof guy, but he can be understanding and even kind at times…as long as you don’t waste his time. His whole being revolves around organization and time management. He keeps a mental daily schedule and is capable of accommodating new events at short notice with little problems. However, should he feel overwhelmed by changes that happen around him, he will shut down and begin acting strangely, doing things sporadically and saying random remarks that will sometimes not even match with what the topic of conversation was. Once his mind has put everything back into order, he will switch back and have no recollection of what he was doing during the time he was out.

Background | History:
Shui Lan came from a prestigious family who had a vast amount of connections with the underworld and black market. Throughout his childhood he had a set schedule he had to follow and learned how to manage his time effectively; it was also common for him to have a body guard at his side at all times in the case of danger. However, one day a member of an infamous mafia group made a move on his parents by attempting to murder their only son. The attacker slaughtered his bodyguard and blinded him in his right eye, then dumped the poor boy into the ocean, hoping he would drown. However, the waters kept him a float even though he was tied to a brick, and carried him to land where his newly hired guard found him and brought him home. He was unable to understand how he had survived that attack on his life, until his eighteenth birthday, when his grandparents revealed to him that the blood of a water dragon youkai ran through his veins, which is why he did not die in the ocean that day. He became fascinated by his newfound power and researched all there was to know about his heritage and blood-line, learning that his ancestor was also of youkai-blood. When he became around the age of twenty-four he stumbled upon a man claiming to also have youkai blood and introduced him to Maison de Umagoyashi. He decided to train to become an SS agent in order to protect another person like himself. He felt that since he had been protected all his life, it was his turn to protect someone else.

Additional Info:
-During his free time he enjoys to read a variety of books and watches television. Lately, he has been really into cooking shows (cuz his cooking sucks orz)
- He tends to be a pretty private person…so if you want to know his likes/dislikes or anything else, you should ask him~ (although that depends on if he even chooses to listen to you OTL)
-He is not fond of his glass eye and will try to hide it whenever it is revealed
-He realizes that he is getting older, but does not like to be reminded of it. Should someone call him old or a geezer, he considers them a rude individual that is not even worth his time
- Although he is a water dragon youkai, he prefers to stay out of the water due to what happened to him as a child. He does enjoy cool weather, though.
- He says that his name is Shui Lan, but there are no records of a person by that name even existing…it is unknown if that is his birth name or a code name of sorts
