It took a month to spot what was bugging me about this illustration. Worth the extra time to do the adjustments. It's finally the epic cover I wanted to create.++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I finally finished it. I think the planning process took longer than the illustration itself. Got some great feedback from artists when I felt something was really off about my lighting.
I got some great comments about the cover of Chapter 3 and I wanted to surpass myself with this one. Wanted to give a taste of what's to come without giving away too much.

thank you! But, the more I look at it, the more I know I'll need to touch it up later. Still something that's bugging me about it. I think it's the colouring.
