They don't really have names,
I do not really like neither the typical style of OC creation with character sheets nor drawing many adops or characters and just giving them all names. Rather than that I draw my OC in a certain situation and let the visuals relay part of the story as well as my characters personality. I find it more interesting when the viewer can look at a picture and think about what the character might be like rather than just reading some list of personal qualities.
This is an old picture on which I practised that, along with some poses, shading and lighting.
I am going to draw a new picture of her most definetly since she is a part of a little alternate universe I am creating.

Yeah, I too have some descriptive pictures of some of the characters I draw. Still, I always prefer to make a description of a character interesting and perhaps even a bit unclear so that others can have their own impressions. It is one of the things I like about art, wondering and discovering something unknown which I always find to be missing when there is an OC with a huge list of firmly stated charasteristics.

Not to mention how many little chagelings are there in the whole hive.
At least the older ones are there as well to help her. I am quiet sure they got it all covered (and dont go insane).

The contrast from the red is amazing.

Thanks ... wait a second ... red? Damm, it was supposed to be amber, warm tense amber shade of pencil. Ah whatever, red is close enough.
Anyhow, glad you like the contrast, the scanner messes up the image so I have to modify it to make it look like the actual drawing in real life. Good to know I am not doing an absolutely terrible job of it.

Haha I was kinda being general with the colors. Amber works for it too.
Man do I feel ya on scanner problems.

Well I chose the colors to define her personality to be honest. I have this imagination that colors symbolise something so the palette is somewhat important for me.
In this case it was the amber for the curious innovative warm spirit and the cyan for the unconcerned and some would say cruel nature, she is a changeling after all, though not as evil as might seem.
I wanted to create a neutral character.

Oh mah gawd, little changelings is so cute. Little guys are lucky to have a nice queen, Chrysalis would probably glare at any grub that chewed her wing until it ran away and hid.
For a picture with a so much going on it's easy to tell whats going on, I think my favorite is the little guy reaching for the pacifier wile his friend his holding his tail and looking nervous.

Thank you, I did improve a lot on the lineart since my first MLP drawings. The little guy on the top was a bit of a pain in the eye. I have never actually drawn a pony (or a changeling) from the profile. I always kinda drew them in this a bit from the front and a bit from the side view, so that the whole face is seen. In fact, I practised a lot of my pony drawing skills here with the various changeling figures.
Glad it turned out well.
