Description
A continuation of my changeling hive description. This time a more detailed drawing of the queen, looking cute and creepy, exactly as I imagined (also a bit seductive, which is fitting, considering the fact she is a changeling). With the previous picture I ruhed a bit, I also wanted to add some extra stuff into her surroundings. The name might not be incredibly smart, but then again, I am not a very smart person, which brings me to my flawed language skills. Alert me of any mistakes so that I can correct them.

DESCRIPTION:
As a queen of the Inventio hive, Neoteria has the thieving nature so typical for her changelings. Moreover, she is quiet curious and eager for knowledge. Those two features combined have infuenced her atypical interest in items she ... borrowed from unsuspecting ponies. As she inspected more and more of those belongings, she became thoughtful and insightful of many pony traditions and activities.
She developed a respect and admiration for the achievements and feats ponies accomplished as a race. No longer did she desire to solely drain love. She wanted more meaningful goal to drive her life.

There are many features which differentiate her from a typical changeling queen. She wears a tiara, shoes and some simple jewelry, following the example of pony princesses. While still being the hive mind, she is less authoritative and lets her changelings make their own decissions and follow their desires because happiness of the hive is the queens main concern. Instead of expansion, she wishes to improve the state of the current caves within the hive using the knowedge obatined by observing ponies and their customs. Boosting her creativity and aspiration for beauty in the process, she motiviates her offspring to replace the thievery with their own craft, which is shown in the hives own fabric and her changeling made accesories. The atmosphere within the whole hive is to become more pleasant and comforting as changelings turn from submissive emotionless servants into self-aware and smart individuals.
All of this has come from her most distinctive characteristic, innovation.

Her hunting methods are also untraditional, perhaps one would no longer even call it hunting. As stated above, most of the ideas for hive advancement came from pony books, so it shouldnt be surprising that Neoteria holds ponies in respect and is deeply interested in them. She does not require lies, hypnosis or mimicking to befriend a pony. She simply is herself, humble and anxious to interact with ponies, making friends simply with her charming kind personality.
Although she cares for feelings of ponies, she shows little to no concern for their lives. Draining them of love, even when sincerely repaying their friendship as a normal pony would do, she eventualy kills them and moves on to another victim. She percieves the whole process as an exchange, ponies love her and she loves them. Being a bit cold, she does not feel regret when a pony dies, she is a changeling after all. Perhaps she might even deserve gratitude for being different from other changelings and comforting her lovers while they are alive. But even then, she is quiet moody and irritable, prone to sudden acts of rage or sadness when she confronts such behavior in her companions.

Her greates ambition is to surpass the other hives and reach the advanced state of society, similar to that of ponies. She also dreams of mastering the changeling hunting to such a high level that she wont need to use a disguise and befriend a pony simply with her hearty friendly behavior, proving she indeed is a great changeling queen and discovering what strange effect might pure pony love have.
Nevertheless, such deed requiers incredible effort, if it is even possible. Ponies are not very eager to give away their life, even though they are lonely and sad and Neoteria offers them heartfelt companionship.
