I drew an elite on my jeans to finally show the publick how much a halo fan I am. I might fill in some random shapes to give it more flow.I used a felt tip clothing marker. Not a stencil.

Find/make design, find suitable jeans. Find suitable marker. apply.
Well I did use a cut out and drew the outline as a reference, but it is a bit of a pain. freehanded the hunter jeans more than this one anyway. It turned out just as good.
My elite jeans have gotten a hole in the knee and I don't like it D:
sewed it shut, but it tore again, right above the seam :C

Mind, I did use a marker designed for clothes, but back in 8th grade all the girls were using permanent markers on the jeans and it seemed to work out for them.

No, I used clothes markers intended for clothing. I think normal markers might have worked, but don't feel like trying it.

OH, btw to the person who said they wanted to buy them from you.... sorry, the Elites are copyrighted to Bungie/Microsoft. You'd be selling official fan-wear, and that's not legal unless it's contracted by the Bungie/Microsoft folks. THat's like trying to publish fanfiction. Not doable, sorry.

I found that Halo fans come out of the woodwork with this kinda stuff. Painted 'Warthog' on the side of my jeep and on occasion I find people taking pictures of it.

It has barely faded a tiny bit, but I have washed it and used it a lot. It is still clearly visible, but if it fades any more i could just go over it with the clothes marker again.

It's fairly easy to make. I think a permanent marker might do the same job, but I used a clothing marker.

Oh yah, but I have no idea how to make that complex shape into a stencil :l
That is why I had struggles putting it on lol

I was thinking a bit about it, but the price would have to be a bit high to cover the cost of the jeans as well as postage and the work too, I really don't think it would be so convinient but I guess I really just like my jeans too much to sell them ..... I dunnow. What size do you wear and how much do you assume price would be at?

but it depends on the maker of the jeans. ok lets say jeans cost 10 to 15 dollars, that would be the generic brand of jeans. Or I could send you a pair of jeans.
Postage I will pay half(depending on how high)if not all the costs.
Now you decide on what you would like to charge on labour.
full price (minus postage) 30 to 40 dollars, now thats just an estimate I came up with during computer class.

You might be a bit shocked for the norwegian price range on clothes.
I bought my jeans for something around 400kr if the dollar is like I last checked it that makes 40 dollars, but it might have changed since then. Postage from norway to america is very harsh too.

For me it is opposite, I can't take my eyes off the feet and thought they were too heavy/detailed XD
