Description
It is a portrait of a character from a Dungeons and Dragons campaign I've been playing with my friends, and run by AmorSacer . You can read more on the campaign here, but to put it short it was supposed to be an introduction for new players to the world of D&D, starting with the Lost Mines of Phandelver, but turned out to be an evergrowing adventure. The adventure log is written retrospectively but our game is far ahead now.As an NPC(Non-Player Character), Ronyo Naur is an experienced person, carrying a burden of a great loss. He's of an incridible help to the group of adventurers he meets, but it does take some time to built his trust. As soon as it happens, Ronyo becomes an invaluable ally and a friend to my character, a human monk of the way of the four elements, Cantis of Urye.

It was one of my first digital paintings, so I was really happy with how it turned out.
I'm glad I got introduced to rpg, and even more so that my partner is a great GM, so we can spend a lot of time having fun with our friends, lost in the creativity of our imaginations.

Yes, that's exactly what I meant: all shapes are already there, but darker shadows between the lips or sharper lines around ears would define it better and make whole piece more consistent

I'm certainly not impartial here: this is absolutely amazing! To have a character born in our head, made semi-real by painting his likeness... Seeing Ronyo here, is almost like living in the dreams.
I hope we will see ALL of the characters here, sooner or later, as it would be, both, great display of your talents and nice collection of fantasy portraits.

Thanks, Alrooney 💓 I've used some fantastic brushes that worked very well to render hair and fur, and I really explored textures in this painting as, probably you have noticed, I'm a huge fan of textures in art 😁 The tatoo was initially something more structured, but I decided to go the other way round and express the wild elf's identity using a more spontaneous shape and organic.

ah nice! Yeah I definitely noticed. I'm also trying to improve my textures, but so far it's been difficult for me to find brushes that work well. But eventually I'll get there
