Description
Thunder MK1 is a tactical nuclear catapult built after years of research in to the M-29 Davy Crockett Weapon System and miniaturization of nuclear arms. The research being conducted by Chief Nuclear Scientist of the Luketopian Army Osama Nadal and various Nuclear physicists and also weapon designers themselves. But the primary goal was that the weapon was designed to serve on the front-lines in the same roles that RPGs typically held. Trials of the Thunder MK1 proved promising and was eventually given the go-ahead for full out production. Eventually going on to serve on the frontlines in the American Invasion in which the Communist States of America invaded Luketopia and much later on the frontlines of Bryzmonikh.Credits to elMengu for the header and DaltTT for scope.
Update: 5/19/2016 - Changed some things. Nothing too major.

"Later on the frontlines of Bryzmonikh"? So it's actually going to happen, Mr.Bar? The "Great Mengu Army" storms the desolate grasslands of Bryzmonikh, backed by the crack and pop of the many Thunder MK1s being fired ahead at the strange, overdressed beings in the distance...
But seriously, I'm impressed by this. Such detail is prevalent. I wonder what other weapons Luketopia have at their arsenal? In particular, their standard issue rifle, perhaps?"

Yes. The Thunder MK1 will lead the way towards a peaceful future. Who knows where it will go from here. 
But I will draw the battle rifle and assault rifles and all that soon...

Take all the time you need for the assault and battle rifles. I was quite curious in what style they'll resemble. Something from the Eastern Bloc? or something more Germanic. We'll see soon enough.
As for the nukes. Not really sure that Makmurians in general would be fond of using such a weapon. They'll be fine seeing more friendly nations utilising them, although they won't feel at home using it themselves. I suppose it comes back to the fact that Makmurians tend to care quite a bit about the conservation of the environment. But as Prince Phillip said. "There's a difference between a genuine concern over the conservation of the environment, than a tree hugger." Or something like that from a interview he did a few years ago. Also, they'll think using such a device themselves would be "cheating"

I doubt a nuclear ordinance of the size you see displayed on the Thunder MK1 here and the Fat-Man and MIRV from Fallout 3/4 would do much environmental damage. Even the radiation from them is pretty small (around 1+ per a second in Fallout 3/4) and it's temporary so I doubt there is a big problem with the environment with these bad boys but this is going off Video game stuff not actual science so don't hold it against me now.
As for the assault/battle rifles. I'm not sure. I want to try for something original, perhaps bullpup.

I won't hold it against you. I'll just think of it as a very, very effective RPG. Maybe "ethics" comes into their minds about it?
Bullpups are gradually making their way into the arms of nations for standard issue. It'd be interesting to see what the top scientists in Luketopia will think of next. Thunder MK1s, Core Cola, various nuclear devices are good for some kind of design CV.

Looks and sounds awesome! I actually got to see a M-29 Davy Crockett when I visited the West Point Museum...that thing was intimidating even though it wasn't functional.
