I totally agree that Robin is a very beautiful little bird. It is considered to be our national bird here.  
It is rather shame that the life expectancy of a European Robin is only 12 - 14 months, rather short in comparison to other birds!

Oh goodness that is a short life span for a Robin. I didnt
know that. What a shame they are such pretty birds.
