Yossarian was intercepted by Theo's siblings at the border - Amon, Ophion, and Judith had roughed him up pretty well, but now, the eldest sibling was tasked with fixing what they had broken. Perhaps this dark wolf would be useful to Vektren. And, if not, the Mistress would make sure her children finished what they started.

In any case, Theodosia is immensely amused by how awkward Yoss is as she tries to tend to his injuries.
