My friends and I were attending a Norwegian convention and the guest of honor happened to be James Cosmo who plays Lord Mormont in Game of thrones. This was kind of a big deal for us, mostly because we're totally obsessed with Game of Thrones, but also because there aren't many international artists visiting Norway like this.Of course I needed to get his autograph, but I didn't really want to use any of the screenshots from the series and I don't have my Game of Thrones books where I'm currently living, so I sat down and drew a pencil portrait of his character, including a bear and a crow for symbolism.
He truly was the sweetest person ever and I am super proud to have had him sign my work. The signed version is framed and hanging on my wall.

I used to really hate portraits, but now I think they're super fun. I still have a long way to go, but at least now my scribbles bear some resemblance to the real thing :3
