The only, one little thing, just -one-. It's that his skin is almost the same gray his legs are and that made me think Zombie Julian for a moment. But maybe that fits better, seeing how he's more monster than human and he shouldn't have such great health living in such a polluted environment. That's part of what makes him scary too!

I've never seen you color like this before, new techniques or hidden talent waiting to come out after that little 'slump' you were in last time? Because it rules so much and I love it so damn much and I can keep going on how much I love you for coloring this so awesome but I'm gonna be late for class!

You're right, he's a bit grayish. I never went back and added any more shading to his face XD (I wish he'd come back from the dead to take over Archie though!) The thing about this pic that bugs me though, is the line going down the middle of his belly is kind of crooked. My fault, not yours. I like to trace the lineart onto another layer cuz it makes coloring much easier, but I must've screwed that line up! It drives me nuts! I might fix it and re-upload it... lol. And maybe add some color to his face too. ^^

Oh, there's a trick to get the lineart alone!
rename the bg layer to unlock it. Set the image to greyscale, then go toSelection on top, from the menu choose Load Selection and in the box just click invert and only the lineart will be selected. Then you can make a new layer and use the bucket tool to fill your selection lines and TADA. Nothing but lineart and no whies. :]
Then add a white layer below to see it and color below to your heart's content.

Bright colors, yes, but Julian tends to like him some flamboyance ^^
The shading used here casts a very eerie light to Robotnik here, and I'm loving it. Good job!
