Description
I asked =Kath602 to give me inspiration in the form of the first word that came to her head. It was lightning, thus, this was born.I guess I expected more from the main lightning bolt, so I added in those little bits, but I think it sort of detracts from the whole piece.
Comment if you really think I should edit that! Or, for that point, anything else about it.

EDIT: Shaded the cloud, after it being suggested by =psychocookee , =EastSideSunsets , =MitsukiLuka , and =Czar-the-Dragon . But, I'm not entirely convinced by it... I might re-do it sometime.

I really like this emote concept and love the way you've shown the emote's skeleton 
1) I like how you've rounded off the grass circle but personally i think it should be a thinner area. If you take a round coin and look at it from above its large and rounded, but if you start to tilt it then the area you can see on top gets thinner and more elongated. The angles you've chosen gives off mixed messages. The floor suggests you are looking at it from a birds eye view, where as the emote and the cloud are head on. If you mess with the floor i think it would look more natural
2) I would also suggest you add some slight shading into the lightning. There is an awful lot of detail which is lost because its all one colour. A few well placed light and dark patches will really show it off more.
3) You've done an excellent job giving some texture to the grass but i think the grass blades at the top should stretch around the whole back of the shape. The blank patches look a little ... well blank. I'm also not sure if its a little too saturated in colour (but i tend to use a duller colour scheme, so that's down to personal preference)
4) The shadow below the emote is a really nice touch. It helps give some dimension and show the emote is off the floor. However, surely the cloud should give some shadow too? Maybe add a lighter shadowed area too
5) Although the shading on the cloud isn't bad, i think it looks a little odd that it is all shaded in one go. Each of the bulges should really have some individual shading for example on: [link] Though i can understand if this isn't something you feel confident at tackling yet

I think it's really cute, the way you can see inside the emote and how you made kind of a scene instead of just a floating emote x3 The only why you could make it better, is if it was animated

I would have made it animated, but I don't have the time, patience or skill to animate, and I haven't got an animating program I can work with yet.

Oh thanks, but don't worry - I know the basics. Almost all the programs I use utilise alpha, layers, and stuff. Frames, I'm only familiar with Photoshop's setout when it comes to frames, but I'll try out GIMP. I used to animate in Photoshop, so I know about animating mainly, just don't have the motivation to do it. Well, to be honest, I just can't be bothered.
You should do a video on YouTube! I'm sure it'd be really useful to a lot of people!
