Description Daelithe

Daelithe is inspired by the dawn of a new cycle, the rebirth of new energy, new growth and new hope. Daelithe is a celebration of the coming of Spring. Rejoice!

Essentially a mixed media piece :
- The pendant is made by me, using several different materials namely polymer clay, aluminum wires, color coated artistic wires and acrylics. The clay bead is au-natural, wet-sanded smooth and buffed to a matte-satiny sheen.
- The cord combines ocean jasper beads, non tarnish silver coated wires, fibres, satin ribbons, metal caps and spacers.

*I have delibrately left this piece still un-clasped. You can choose to have it long or short as seen on the 2 images. Advice me as to which length you would prefer your necklace to be.

*Please avoid getting this piece wet.

I have been using a simple soldering iron with pure silver solder, which oddly enough you can get down at Radio Shack. Just a thought

A friend as plans to build a mini-forge, and I had a chance to reclaim about 50 pounds of solid brass, circa 1920, so I am excited about cleaning it up and melting it down.. not sure what i am gonna make yet...

Thanks for the compliment! I am too poor now, but soon I may try to get one of your elven pieces! I love them!
