Description Eredh means 'Seed' in Tolkien's language of the Elves.

I can see seeds of beauty such as this, growing in the trees in Lothlorien. As such, I tried to construct the 'seed' as I would imagine it, cradled in its pod. Other smaller, but no less beautiful, seedlings, vines and leaves link this magical pod to the mother tree. There it stays for now, awaiting its time to burst out of its cradle to create new life on the grounds of Lothlorien ...

The Ocean Jasper or Orbicular Jasper can only be found on the Northwest Coast of Madagascar, and only mined during low tide. It is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful stones in the mineral kingdom, where its beauty is truly nature's work of art. This stone, also known as the Atlantis Stone, is said to bring strength and renewal in one's life, alleviates stress and anxiety, and finally ushering in joy, positivity and light.

I am once again able to work my unconventional way of stone setting into this piece, and am totally delighted with the result. Other material used in this piece : copper sheeting, copper and brass wires, brass chains, paper, paint, patina, resin, clay, copper and brass tone findings, and a variety of jasper, quartz, glass and mother of pearl beads.

* this piece wears 18 inches round the neck (if you need it longer, please message me after purchase)
* the pendant is 3 inches from the bail to end.
* the focal stone has been lifted slightly to create more height

I'm going to be honest, I've been watching you for a long long time and you're work has evolved in a direction that I personally am....indifferent to? I can't say I don't like it for sure, but it's not an "omg, mind blown, holy cow I am deadly in love with it!" reaction either. I still get interested in pieces here and there, but not like with your earlier works from when I first started following you. But this piece. This piece has caught my attention big time. And I can't even put my finger on why, but I am captivated. My eyes definitely move around the piece and lingers in each area. idk. maybe I just haven't given your other pieces enough attention. It's got me itching to go back when I have some time and look at your other stuff again to find if I just haven't been fair to your stuff.

hahaha!! thank you for the message
I do relate to the fact that we sometimes become indifferent to certain phrases of an artist's work. I have the exact same experiences myself as well. But as an artist I can also understand that we go thru evolution, or phases. This is part of growth as a person and an artist. There is bound to be people who would fall in and out of our art at these different phases. But we have to do what our heart dictates. For me that's how we answer to our authentic self.
Having said that, I am glad this piece has sparked your interest again! It can only be a good thing right
