Dorian has now killed his friend Basil and (in this telling of the story) Sybil's brother James, and it is evident on the face of the painting that this is a man who cannot be redeemed.

The performance is over, so I can finally upload these! A friend/peer of mine wrote a musical of Oscar Wilde's novel, and last summer he asked if I would produce the portraits needed. After a bit of negotiation, I agreed to do four portraits of the lead singer at an A4 scale and have them printed large enough for the stage. I took the photos in December, and spent the latter half of January drawing and painting them.

I am very proud of what I have achieved with these paintings.
