two little thangs that were originally submissions for ff's conbook/badge art...but uh...i think at this point they might not fit within the submission guidelines!which is fine. still fun to do...a lesson in hurrying-the-hell-up.
dude in the upper right hand corner? was originally supposed to be MOTHMAN but his wing-like parts...didn't work so hot for that silhouette.
which doesn't really matter.
mothman is just fun to say.
MOTHMAN SAYS disregard the lime green that seems to be spreading. i hate my scanner.

I have to say, I love the top one in particular. Well apart from the obvious reasons why this reminds me of Watership down, the 'Mothman' silhouette invokes an actual horror that I associate with the Watership down film itself. It's a great piece that I want to keep looking at, but then instantly want to look away from.

I love the expression of the rabbit at the top. It's like a rabbit-in-the-headlights face.

You kick all arses at drawing bats and their wings, and the expression of terror on that rabbit lad is one of my favourite bits (aswell as the shading on his face). That compass(?) of his must be reflective. Mothman gunna getchu (speaking of which, I'm not even particularly familure with the character!)

Mothman? Like from SMT? How could he be scary, he has such cute feet! Beautiful work, your colors have such a 'classic' look to them. Mothman reminds me of a Miyazaki monster.

I'm in love with the Bat guy up there, he looks like he's telling a very funny story about maybe last halloween when he scarred a little kid so bad they dropped their candy pail.
Well something to that affect, my mind runs off with me sometimes.

I love the feel on this one. Reminds me of old Jim Henson specials along the lines of The Tale of the Bunny Picnic. ^^
