quick doodle for *savannahhorrocks ! because i LOVE this character.the real reason she's hiding her face? because i couldn't, er, didn't want to draw it. i'm sorry savannah D8
line work's a bit uneven. i realized halfway through i was inking with burgundy and not brown..then brush penned areas with the brown. ahhh!

Ooh, beautiful textures! Such fluffy tufts(ohoh, cocteau reference?) and silky feathers.
I adore those gigantic ears, and strong, sharp wing-hands and feet, in contrast to her delicate, tiny arms and hands across her face.
The way you've composed this, having her slightly off to the left, makes her look even more alone somehow, which just completes the air of it :3 (Even if that air is a sad one :c )

I love this. Her little hands are so cute (something about the fingernails adds to the effect). Whenever you do flat white like this is really accentuates your inking.

Seriously. I'm just at a loss for words right now I love this so much I can hardly BREATHE. I love love love love LOVE the way you ink things. And that combined with the way you color and the paper you use is just... so gorgeous I can't even stand it.
And the way you drew ophelia is just killing me. her hair, her FLUFF, her wings, her little hands, her bloomers, he ears, her feet her tail everything just... oh god
