The lineart for this is actually kind of old, it's been scanned and sitting on my computer for a while, but when I heard about the contest I figured I'd pull it out and colour it (I had a long weekend to do so). I'm actually REALLY happy with how this turned out, though I don't really like the flowers and I'm not quite happy with the front legs...One of my favourite things to do while playing Okami (besides fighting my favourite boss, Crimson Helm) is to run until she's going as fast as possible, then leap into the air and over things. I just love the look of it, so of course if I did fanart, it just had to be of her doing that.
I don't think I quite captured the speed of her leap here... but oh well, I'm really proud of the detail, especially on the fur. this might just become my new featured image >w<

I read your browser troubles. I greatly urge you to use Safari a browser made for pc's put out by apple.
Colors are clearer and images sharper. Its like going from regular to HD tv. It loads faster too. Its just basics and not loaded down with a lot of junk and add ons.

Thank you for the advice, but my problems aren't cause by my browser sadly, it's my firewall, it blocks galleries and youtube videos. I've been trying to fix it, but it's still being dumb, the most I've managed to do is get full view and image uploading working.
Perhaps I'll try looking over that colour thing though, I want to see the pretty colours

I love the added touch of grass and flowers growing behind her as she moves, it's so cool, and fun to draw, if not a pain to colour XD (at least, the flowers are)
