Oww, I love the simple grassy background. You kept the paper so clean, and the colors didn't blend at all (it does when I work with pastels xD You captured the difference in fur of the baby and the mother very well, I think. That was the first thing that came in my mind when I saw this. And the colors are just beautiful, very strong but that doesn't distract. I'm only not sure about the shape of the heads, they look good, but somehow odd. Buttt since I've no pictures of zebras here, I don't know. Great job anyway. And two questions: How big is the paper you worked on? And a very stupid question: What is a portfolio? I may know it in Dutch, but erm, my English is faaar from perfect.
I feel very ashamed right now.

Oh wow... your portfolio artwork always amazes me. Anatomy and coloring is great, absolutely no crits. *stares in aww* But my, though. What sort of media did you use? I would think coloring a creature that's black and white (and getting the colors to not blend) would be a difficult task, but you pulled it off nicely.

Ahhh... that's definitely different. I've never thought of doing art on a fuzzy texture. You executed it very well, awesome job!
