My little Noire. She was named in part due to her color, but also due to the fact that we bought her at a winery.

She was my little baby for 15 years. A silent companion through my developmental years. She was mild, sweet, but stubborn. Life will be so hard to get used to without her, but I cherish her memory and was by her side as she drifted off into her final nap.

Tonight we rejoice to her memory with a bottle of "Petite Noir"

The little blob at the bottom was my attempt at transferring her paw-print with watercolor. I feel like the bottom right drawing best characterizes her.
