Thanks. My heart goes out to you. I can't imagine. It was/is such a deep hurt. A friend of ours lost 3 cats in one year, all of which needed to be put to sleep. :/

It was. The hard part for me is that she didn't "look" sick. Her behavior became sick, but she had a soft clean coat, she was petit, and looked healthy. It was only in the last 2 weeks that she became so week from her tumor. We had to put her on a steroid to curb the tumor growth, and to stimulate her appetite. She was my baby, and although she lived a full life for a cat, it just... doesn't seem her death was... appropriate.
