yesyes... everyone draws their pokemon party.. and what ever @ them... this is my party, you can see their names and all... and starting at my character (lydario) and moving counter clockwise we have;octillery
ampharos
latias
sceptile
aggron
absol
i did a bit of digital touch-up on the face of my character because.. when i drew his face... either my hand or sharpie just decided to have some kinda of bipolar disorder and start hating me >:[
though... it was a new sharpie with almost too much ink, if you will... so... that may explain some of it...
so... i had to fix that.. but... thats about it...
?i will always have a place in my heart for pokemon most likely XD
as ussual pokemon are copyright to... blah blah blah e_e

An OCT, or Original Character Tournament, is a type of competition.
A tournament between artists where they battle their OC's through artistic expression. Usually, this is through comics, but occasionally has included animation and literature.
In a pokemon OCT like the one I'm currently entered into. You pick a character of your own and insert them into the existing story that centers around the pokemon world in this instance.
In OCT, you make a trainer, a team, a background for each one and put them into the Battle Frontier Ohana Island tournament.
You can read though the various galleries about the goings-ons of last year (Y1) while using that to build up your character for this year. Just remember to follow the rules and consult the FAQ like a Bible (or other religious text).
From the looks of your artwork you'd be a shoe-in for getting to the final round.

Ah, ok, I've seen this before, and though it was cool, but this character isn't... a 'character' I developed, just a necessary component to a picture I wanted to draw of my team at the time.
I'm not sure I'm still invested enough in pokemon to spend the time to do something like this.

Nothing wrong with everyone drawing their Pokemon team, it's the mark of a well loved game. BTW good looking team, I'm not a fan of either Agron or Sceptile but you drew them awesome.
I was wondering what kind of sharpie you use, cause I only know one type and it doesn't really seem like a particularly useful kind of marker to use for drawing??

i dont use them anymore, and i wouldnt recommend them... but what i use now it prisma color liners (i don't think thats the official name, but they're prismas)

well theyre so versitile, you have to admit... theyre what i like to call "garbage pokemon" like garbage pizza, it comes with an enourmous variety, in the pizza its topping, on the pokemon... types of moves
but yea... OCTILLERY is adorable
and it can learn fricking flame thrower
