I watched the 2000s reboot of Charlie's Angels recently which features Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu and Cameron Diaz and I absolutely loved it! I learnt of it when I realised that Totally Spies was inspired primarily by that movie/TV series. I researched the original TV series and I discovered an official Rule 63 episode where they introduced an all-male trio of detectives called Toni's Boys who were under the supervision of Antonia'Toni' Blake. The Rule 63 spinoff never took off because nobody was interested(and I felt it was because the episode was somewhat chauvinistic instead of highlighting the playful sex appeal of the men). So I decided to make a fanart poster on what could have been based off the 2000s reboot. The three characters from back to front are Dylan Sanders, Alex Munday and Nathaniel Cook. The reason why Dylan was changed to a black person was based off the recent decision of the 2019 reboot to finally include a black woman into the trio of Angels. However, I kept the red/orange hair because the original Charlie's Angels design notes state that the trio of Angels are meant to comprise a redhead, a brunette, and a blonde and black people can also naturally have red hair without admixture with any other races/ethnicities(Malcolm X is one such American example).
