I need to sort her eyes and mouth a little tonight they just dont look right. Thanks for the colour tips i,m quite happy with moving away from black and white now.
Hey just took delivery of 20 boards 10x8" for a £1.00 each and hope to work on them next week.

Yeh its a woman in at my works who as asked me to paint her daughter but shes wants it in black and white with flashes of red in the hair.I will try and do it this weekend.

Im going the other way, this size uses far to much paint, 3 tubes just on this one. I have received 20 canvas boards today 10"x 8" from the art supplier.

That sounds like a good idea! Canvas boards are a good idea - as is buying paint in large tubs!
It's interesting the number of artists who use oil paint for impasto knife paintings - it must take forever to dry! I wouldn't give up my heavy body acrylics for anything...

Yeh they do take ages to dry but that can always work in your favor like scrapeing off and starting again.
I just got a knife portrait commision today which they want on a large canvas so the boards are going to have to wait for a few days
