Description Hey!

This is Ivy and Timothy, Bioshock FC's. This was drawn a while ago, perhaps in September? I don't know, I don't date my drawings like I should.

So Here is a bit of info on the mother and son. ^^

Name: Ivy Liton {Maiden: Tobkinch }

Age: 31

Race: Human

Height: 5'3" | 160 cm

Weight: 102 lbs | 46.26 kg

Hair color: {Naturally Blonde} Deep Brown

Eye color: Brown

Plasmids: Security Bullseye and Target Dummy

Gene tonics: Wrench Jockey, Wrench Lurker 2, Security Expert 2, Security Evasion 2, and SportBoost

Custom Gene Tonics: None

Weapons: Wrench and Pistol

Appearance:

History: Ivy was born in upstate New York on 1929, exactly 3 months before the Stock Market crashed. Her family did survive though {Her father owning a coal mine, and her Mother being a Broadway actress}. Her older sisters, Adora and Adina, are twins that are just about 5 years older then her. In 1946, at 17 years, old her father {who had underground connections and information} sent the girls to Rapture thinking that the city was a sanctuary, and that it would provide the perfect upbringing for them.
When Ivy first arrived, she immediately got to work becoming a fashion designer. She gained an extreme popularity with the Rapture citizens, because she was the only designer with a full line out within a year.
In 1947, Ivy met a British man named Richard Linton, who was an architect designer that helped design major parts of Rapture. The two eventually fell in love and married in 1950. 2 years later they would have a son, Timothy Linton. The family’s offices, Ivy’s fashion studio and a small office for Richard’s architect plans, moved into Fort Frolic at Ivy’s request to be closer to her sisters, who were having money troubles (or so Ivy was told).
On the 1958 New Years Eve masquerade party, Richard and Ivy thought it was a good idea to stay home because the two were vary busy. Ivy needed to perform some finishing touches on her new line which were to be released the next day, while Richard had to start sketches for a new design for Arcadia’s walk ways {which are never built}. When the 1958 New Year’s Eve Riots begin, Timothy was the first to know, mostly because he was watching the program while his parents worked.
Ivy and her husband begin to worry about the life they chose to have in Rapture. They started making plans to leave. After the Civil War begins, the theater closed, forcing Ivy’s sisters to splice more then usual. One night, in 1959, the twins came to the house, obviously spliced more then usual. Richard is home alone and let them in. When the two ask for ADAM, Richard becomes angered at the two and tells them to leave. The twins become violent and attack Richard, killing him. They both realize their mistake and try to flee, but Ivy comes home with Timothy and catches her sisters.
Ivy left Fort Frolic the day Ryan ordered the bathyspheres to be closed. Ivy and her son catch the last bathysphere that leaves Fort Frolic. Ivy then moves to the more upper class apartments, and decides that her main concern is the safety of her son. She takes no place in the Civil War.
When Ryan started seizing little girls and her friends turn into splicers, she realized that there were still children out in Rapture that had no one. She turns her apartment into a fort and begins prepping to rescue the abandon children. Most of which are boys. She finds a way to travel from place to place by a system of tunnels and pipes.
During the events of BioShock 1, Ivy was still roaming Rapture searching for any children that are still alive. She drags her son around with her so that children will trust her more. A few teenagers and young adults that still hold their sanity join Ivy and protect her apartment turn fortified compound. Jack encounters Ivy and Timothy, but only ever sees them leaving Hephaestus through another glass tunnel. He faintly hears her saying something to her son.
In BioShock 2 Ivy is 39 years old. She’s raised most of the children she’s found. She stays in obscurity, fearing that Dr. Lamb will come and take them all away and make them apart of “The Rapture Family”. Her son and a few of the other children, however, run around Rapture trying to find any remaining sane people left.
It is still unknown if she ever left Rapture or not.

Personality:
Ivy is a very caring and kind woman. She’s intelligent and planes ahead. But she wasn’t always like that. When she was younger, she was board with the world. Not a caring individual at all. Her personality resembled a bit like her sisters, a moody attitude. It wasn’t until she met Richard, did she start to feel like life wasn’t as boring as she once thought. Ever since then, she has devoted much of her time in helping others less fortunate then her. She even donated clothing she had made to the homeless. As she got older, she became more and more motherly. Taking care of so many kids was the main reason for that. Of course she is serious when she has to. She was always one step ahead, and if she wasn’t, she always had something to fall back on.

Name: Timothy Liton

Race: Human

Height: 4‘ 1“ {5‘ 11 “}* | 124.46 kg {180.34 kg}*

Weight: 56 lbs {187 lbs.}* | 25.40 kg {84.82 kg}*

Hair color: Blonde

Eye color: Green

Plasmids: None {Hypnotize Big Daddy, Security Bullseye 2, and Telekinesis 3 }*

Gene tonics: Extra Nutrition 1 {Armored Shell 2, Photographer’s Eye, Safecracker, Extra Nutrition 3, and SportBoost 2 }*

Custom Gene Tonics: None

Weapons: None {Shotgun, Research Camera, and Crossbow}*

Appearance:

History: Timothy was born in Rapture on may 6th ,1952 to Ivy and Richard Liton. At the age of 6, Timothy witnessed the 1958 New Year’s Eve Riots on Rapture TV. He ran to his parents to tell them, “The scary monsters are hurting the masked people.”
Two years later, Timothy and his mother come home to see his aunts standing over his father’s dead body. The next day Timothy is carried to the last bathysphere leaving Fort Frolic by his mother. After that his mother starts taking him around the literal haunted nightmare that was Rapture.
The rest of his life up until Bioshock 2 was sharing a fortified apartment complex that had 20 other kids, and a handful of teenagers and young adults running around in it.
Timothy encountered Jack in the first Bioshock game when Jack was walking around Hephaestus. Jack would have seen him walking in a different tube, looking at him, till his mother came and grabbed his hand and walked out of view.
In Bioshock 2 Timothy, now a 17 years old, led a small party of about 5 other people that grew up with him, to go around Rapture and find what ever sanity was left.
It is unknown if Timothy ever left Rapture or not.

Personality:

Timothy is a curious boy. He likes to wander around and try to figure out why something doesn’t work or how it works. He is kind like his mother taught him to be, but he doesn’t often plan ahead like her. He doesn’t usually fall back on something, because he never had a backup plan to begin with. So in other words, he’s just as impulsive as his father was. He’s very creative and will use that to get out of trouble. Timothy learned to be responsible and to make decisions. He’s a leader of sorts, but he can follow as well.

* It should be noted that anything with a star (*) next to it mean that these stats are after the 10 year time skip in Bioshock 2.

*0*0*

I hope you like these two. ^^
I really enjoyed making these two up, and I can't wait to show you guys the others I've made last summer. >U<

I love your characters it sounds really interesting. I also like the idea of seeing them walking around when your playing the game. Usually, the only people you see in Rapture are splicers so I like the idea of seeing normal people moving about Rapture trying to survive while you (the player) are running around doing missions.

Thank you. ^^ I always thought it was strange that you never encountered any sane people besides the important people (Tenanbaum, Ryan, Fontain, etc.). Like were are the regular Joes! That's one of the reasons I liked Infinite so much was because you got to see the sane people walking around!
I like the idea that there had to be groups of sane people running around, those that never actually spliced and are just trying to survive. I mean not everyone wanted to get involved with the civil war. I guess I like exploring the development of those characters growing up or living in those kinds of conditions. It's sort of like a breath of fresh air, knowing you aren't the only sane person in Rapture trying to survive and get the hell outta Dodge.

Though I would like to redesign these characters a bit and brush up their stories too. It's been years sense I looked at these characters.

Well, I know originally for Bioshock 2 they had planned to have survivors in the game that you could interact with. They actually had a system were you could buy supplies from them and you could use Pneumo tube system to trade stuff back and forth with each other. They ended up cutting it out from the game which is a shame because it would have been sort of cool to interact with sane people in Rapture. It would also be interesting to see how the survivors react to the fact that they are talking with (and trading items with) a big daddy.

Their are a few audio diaries spread about the game that hint to the fact that sane people (or at least mostly sane people) still hanging around in Rapture. The audio diary 'Signal Beacon' in Minerva's Den at least shows that their are people trying to figure out how to get out of Rapture

Really?! That would have been so awesome! It's a shame they didn't put it in the final product.

I always loved listening to the audio diaries, it really painted a great picture of what Rapture was like before the civil war and during. I haven't played Minerva's Den yet, I've been meaning too, but haven't found the money for it. My mom finally did buy it, so I'll be playing it soon... hopefully.

Yeah, they would have been included. Evidently they got cut because the survivors idea was no longer a part of the story line. Anyway, they talk about them on the Bioshock wiki and it's pretty interesting to read what the trading system would have been like. Here's a link to the wiki article if your interested bioshock.wikia.com/wiki/BioSho…

It also talks about some of the removed content as well.

I love audio diaries too they are very interesting. I love hearing what life was like in Rapture before everything went downhill. I also love them because they give you an idea of what the people who lived their were like, how they are taking to living in Rapture (before, during, and after the civil war), or they just give you general information on how places run.

Also, play Minerva's Den it's really good and the story is wonderful. You also get a new plasmid and weapon to use in Minerva's Den and let me tell you the plasmid is fun and interesting to use. The new weapon is pretty cool too.
