Reheating some old porridge and thinking what to do with it.Yes well my oldest character and his story is changing for the last time. When I have freetime I will start writing and see how it goes.
And if it doesn't feel good I'll just drop him off or make some other use for him, eventhou it would feel bad. :I
I allready dropped many characters out from his life, like his kids and some other minor characters which I've had since, not kidding: 1998.
Oswald is now in his 20's (22-25) and Tubbs has changed too. I'm still not sure if I want to keep his appereance like this, but he'll have a bat like nose anyway.
This is rather quickly made pic, just to bring out some toughts about yonger Oswald. There are things in his design I just simply can't drop off easily, like pointy hair,
thick eyebrows and bright blue eyes. He's looked something like this since 2001, so I ain't gonna do anything about it. :'D
Yeees... for other note: I'm very sorry I've been a bit quiet in here but I haven't had much interest/time to hang in dA lately. I'll try to reply comments and notes asap!

OMG Oswald's hair looks so AMAZING. I just have to get that out, but it's like...super light and fluffy and real looking, I just want to touch it!! oxo
Also SO weird to see a new tubb's! At first I thought it was a new monster that broke through! I love the lil bat nose, but it totally makes him seem less scary to me, probably cuz bats are too darn cute haha Also whaaaaaaaaaat is all this talk of nixing Oswald's kids and everything?? When did this happen?? So crazy! Also it would be super sad if you just got rid of Oswald, but I know how you feel. I've argued with getting rid of Blitz and that whole crew, because to me-since I've had them since I was 10 or so-they seem juvenile and weird when put into my main story. But then I feel like Blitz was a huge part of me and I really do only draw and have these stories because of her so I don't think I could do that ;-; So I know what you mean when you would feel bad, but he seems strange to your story...though I'm curious now to how your story has changed since he may or may not fit in it any longer >...> hahha

Otherwise he hasn't changed much. I was thinking if I should change the haircolour a bit lighter
from where it's short, or would it look silly...I don't know. o3o;
Yea, that's Tubbs alright. :'D I think he looks more cute too, but it's probably because I just
roughly redesigned him right here without sketching or planning more. x'D
I will keep that batnose thou, eventhou I think too that bats are super cute, lol!
I didn't find his old design too pleasing to draw and one reasor was that he had no visible nose.
His eyes were harder to place in to his face when there wasn't one.
Oh I hear you, I've had these characters so long and that's why I don't want to just throw them away,
eventhou I kinda did that with his kids. ^u^;; But since Oswald is in his twenties now in the story he
doesn't need to have kids. I think it's better if he's had them later (if ever? o3o)
Ah, I haven't told you about his story almost at all...maybe I'll try to write small summary soon and send it to
you. ouo Right now I'm so tired I can't write more...just...want...sleep...

I really like his hair short...when it was a bit scruffier it made him look older, but not that he is only in his 20's the short hair fits even better. I really like the color of his hair too though, if it was lighter he'd look completely different. So is he still scottish or no? And that would be an idea to keep his kids for later if he ever gets married and has them...it'd be so sad if he never met Selina, but i'm a super sad fangirl liek that..or something like that hahaha
I can imagine Tubbs as being so hard to draw with a nose or 'facial landmarks' to go off of. I have the same problem with my character Ask'ell, since its face is so different. I think that's what made Tubbs so strange and creepy though...he's still a strange little monster, but totally cute now with that lil bat nose haha I want to hug him to death ahhaha
I'd really love to read a summary about Oswald's story/life! o3o hahaha GET SLEEP so I can read! hahaha but seriously just get some sleep to feel better!

Tubbs definitely looks interesting here, though I miss his big, malicious grin. If you'd add that, I think he'd be perfect (for me).

Tubbs looks interesting here, and he's the one who I wanted to change the most.
I've kept my characters in my head for many years and because I don't do anything about
them has made me uninterested about them. Even I wouldn't ever create something I could share
with people atleast I will get this thing out from my head and make room for better ideas.
Tubbs' appereance will get small changes even from this, but basically he's more interesting to
draw than he ever was. Actually, I almost always hated how he used to look before. :'3

I didn't know how much you didn't like his old look. I think this one looks more unique. It's nice to have memorable characters and he certainly stays in the mind more now.
