Description TA DAH!!!

Been spending the week on this, and its been awhile since I last used my Copics, so it was good to use them again

Started with a pencil sketch in my sketchbook, then did a quick trace onto Copic paper, then paint in with Copics and finally detail everything with a fineliner.

Overall it turned out good, but I think the very back of the background could have been more...well, better.

They can be expensive but they're well worth it, very nice quality

Cool work mate! I reckon your the only one out of everyone I have seen so far to have got the true feeling of pandora. With the background, the only thing I would say is maybe some more light and shade like some real black bits in the background and shadows to give it more shape.

What did you do this with? looks a bit like poster paints but whatever it is its way cool

Haha, hey thx man I used Copic markers for this, started as a pencil sketch, then used the copics, then the fineliner to add detail and lines Yeah I would have liked to add a bit more depth to the background but Im limited to like 19 colours and shades, with only 3 blues which are quite vivid or grey.

yeah, Its pretty cool but I got "james camerons, The art of avatar" too. Thats so much better XD

less detail on the stuff but its a massive book with some awesome concept art!

Would that happen to be.."THIS"(pulls out The art of Avatar book) big blue art book of awesomeness hehe I got that too, but I still havnt even read it yet, just skimmed through it when it arrived in the post. Though it came in real handy for reference for this piece

I have no idea who the character is but I certainly love the drawing
It may have been a while since you used the copics but you have definetly not lost your touch with them. Love the detailing and colouring on the background. The character looks awesome, do they all have like that braid/bead thing in there hair? The eyes look so deep

Hey thx It was fun using copics again for this The characters no one special for now, just a random figure of the top of my head The beads and stuff is just some random tribal style stuff....yeah

No problemo. I could imagine so, I really want to use them one day but I need the right colours Ahh right just someone of your own design ok that is cool Well it suits him well and suits the Na'vi people as well.
