Hey it only took me one and a bit months to do this. Does this mean I'm loved again? DOES IT!?
Thank god this was only an action page so I didn't have to spend ages drawing people standing still talking for aaaaaaaaaaaaageees. Went back to SAI for this page so that's probably one of the reasons I didn't hate drawing this as much. Had fun playing about with the luminosity tool, but in hindsight I feel that I might have abused it a tad.Β
One thing I don't like though is that I forgot to draw the thick line outline outside of all the characters. Kinda forgot to do that for this page, but I honestly couldn't be bothered to go back and fix it, so that's a lesson for next time

I love this story so much I really wish you would have motivation to continue it.........I relate to this a lot, honestly.. it's helped me get through hard times and it's a great distraction from other shit. I highly doubt you'll read this, but I really, and I mean, like, really, love this series.....

Can I first say that I'm really glad that my lil fancomic helped you in anyway. It really makes me feel happy to have made it and that others enjoy it for what it is. I am very sorry that I had to have ended it, but I did have my reasons for doing so. My only hope is that my new ORAS comic can help you the same way my Ruby one did.

I'll check out your Omega Ruby one and I'm sure it'll be just as good, if not better. I'm not 100% sure why but I really enjoyed every little thing about this series, from the art/design to the story, it was truly phenomenal.

Amazing Nuzlocke, I love this story. Of course it's always sad to have caught up as there's no more to read for now. I like the amount of effort you put into your pages as well. Great job and I hope to see more of this

I love the fact that his gyarados has a cut on the same side of its face as rick, I do hope it scars as It would make a parallel character, going from an innocent Magicarp to a pokemon destroying monster.
The glow effect works well in this setting as it is in a semi dark area it in fact complements the atmosphere.

Aside from that, I don't think you should worry about the thinner outlines in this page. Because of the luminosity and action sequences, the thick lines weren't actually needed. Each section of the character was well defined by highlights, and the movement on the page worked well with smaller lines.Β
I love the page, and I cannot wait to see how the Golbat is handled. I am a little worried because it's separated from the Camerupt's death, and we all know how annoying Golbats can be during runs, but I'm sure Seiryu can handle it. I hope.
On a side note, I wonder how May is taking Rick's brutality in battles. She might be distracted by her own fight, but it's kinda hard to miss a giant monster eating another giant, lava-spewing monster. XD

If this is luminosity abuse, maybe you want to stick with it. The lighting on this page is absolutely gorgeous. Using the first panel to establish the setting worked wonders too. It gives an idea as tot he time and helps the darker atmosphere make sense. It's impressive how much those little flecks of fire affect the mood too. They seem so insignificant, but they really do a lot.Β
I am in love with that dragon rage panel. Seiryu is quite the badass this page. Which is quite an extreme contrast to what we're used to. It'll be interesting to see how/if this incident affects his behavior in the future. Cause damn, eating the camerupt, that's dark.
Overall a really intense page. This battle was excecuted so freaking well Mad. It was worth the wait.

Whenever its done?
Yeah these things come out as soon as they get finished. But with my job, college work and Uni applications, I can't churn these out as fast as I can. This page took just over a month, so the next will probably take that long as a minimum.
