Kris Kringle and Jessica from "Santa Claus is Coming to Town."
Hope you guys had a good time on Christmas Day with your family and friends. 
Meh, I'm not sure why I did this background; probably because I want to make a bit more "Christmasy."
Yeah, I wouldn't forget that Kris/Santa Claus had been voiced by the legendary star, Mickey Rooney, who was well-known for doing the voice of (older) Todd from "Fox and the Hound" and Flip from "Little Nemo," during my childhood. Though, it was sad to hear that Rooney passed away on April 2014.
Not only Rooney, but we also lost Arthur Rankin Jr., one of the animation wizards/partners from Rankin/Bass production, because he passed away a year ago (January 2014). I wouldn't forget how Rankin/Bass's works inspires me because of the character designs, especially "The Last Unicorn."
Thank you for making my childhood happy, while growing up with Xmas specials, Mickey Rooney and Arthur Rankin. We'll miss you both.

They're not the same as those from TNBC because Jessica and Kris lives in North Pole, while TNBC's Mr. and Mrs. Claus live in Christmas Town.Β

You what's really amazing about Rankin-Bass is the fact that it influences many people, and Tim burton is one of those people.

Yep, I could see why Tim Burton had been inspired by "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" for TNBC, along with Dr. Suess' "The Grinch."
After all, I could that "The Santa Claus 2" that this idea from this "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" special because of Carol Newman(Mrs. Claus)+Scott Calvin... and the part when Scott gave Carol a baby doll as a Xmas gift (same thing that Chris gave Jessica a china doll).

Interesting. And speaking of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town", are you aware of the fact the Mr. Burgemeister from "Frankenweenie"was based on the Burgemeister Meisterburger from the special, even though his appearance was similar to Finis Everglot's, but with a few differences being he was straight-backed, taller and has thicker limbs.
